Cyle Larin says Southampton have made his family feel at home, a factor he credits for his impressive goalscoring form. The Canadian striker delivered his latest contribution with two goals in Saturday's 4-1 Championship victory over Bristol City at St Mary's.
Larin's scoring streak
His brace took his personal tally to eight goals for the season, with seven of those coming in his last seven league appearances. The 31-year-old opened the scoring in the 38th minute, finishing an assist from Finn Azaz, before adding a second just after the hour mark. That performance helped Southampton maintain their strong home record, having now scored 15 goals in their first four league games on their own turf this campaign.
"It’s one of the best," Larin said of the club's environment. "I think it has to do with the players around me and the staff, they make me feel at home." He emphasised that the support extends beyond the pitch. "Off the pitch the club has looked after me and my family, and that’s most important for me to be able to perform and show who I am on the pitch."
Saints' current form
The win over Bristol City was Southampton's second consecutive victory, part of an unbeaten run that now stretches to five matches. The result leaves Russell Martin's side eighth in the Championship table with 10 points from seven games, just four points behind early leaders West Ham. Their next challenge is an away trip to face Wrexham in North Wales this Saturday.

Larin's goals were part of a dominant team display. Finn Azaz, who provided two assists, capped the win with a goal of his own in the 85th minute, while Kuryu Matsuki also found the net. This attacking fluency has seen Southampton score 18 goals already this season, the third-highest total in the division.
