Southampton FC has opened a temporary pop-up store at the Westquay shopping centre, bringing a range of club experiences and products to the city centre. The limited-time outlet will be open until Tuesday 27 October, offering fans a chance to engage with the club off the pitch.
"Southampton FC has arrived at Westquay, giving supporters and shoppers the chance to discover everything happening at the club in one convenient location," the club said.
The pop-up features the latest official kits, training wear and the new season collections, with shirt printing services available for personalisation. Club representatives are also on hand to discuss ticketing options for upcoming fixtures, including complimentary tickets for Southampton FC Women's matches.
Visitors can also experience LEVEL1, the club's activity arena, which includes football and racing simulators, mini golf, augmented reality darts and climbing walls. The club's football development team is present to provide information about soccer schools and coaching programmes, and enquiries can be made about hosting personal events at St Mary's Stadium.
Fan engagement during strong run
The initiative comes as the first team enjoys a positive spell on the pitch. Southampton sit sixth in the Championship with 20 points from 12 games, just five points behind leaders Middlesbrough. Their recent form includes a dramatic 3-2 away win over West Ham last Friday, with goals from Kuryu Matsuki, James Bree and Lewis Dobbin. That victory at West Ham on Saturday 24 October was part of a recent run of three wins and a draw from their last five matches. The team has scored 24 goals this season while conceding only 12, giving them a goal difference of plus 12. Their top scorer this season is C. Larin, who has netted seven times in 11 appearances.
The next challenge for Russell Martin's side is a home fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday 31 October. QPR currently occupy eighth place in the standings, setting up a key encounter between two promotion hopefuls. More information about the pop-up store and its activities is available on the club's official website.
