Southampton FC has opened a temporary pop-up experience at Westquay for fans to visit this week. The club's new space will be open until Tuesday 27th October, offering a range of activities and club services.
Southampton said the pop-up gives supporters a chance to shop the latest official kits and training wear, with shirt printing available on site. Club staff will also be on hand to discuss ticketing options for upcoming matches and the full fixtures schedule. Supporters visiting the pop-up can claim complimentary tickets for Southampton FC Women's fixtures.
A key feature is the inclusion of activities from the club's LEVEL1 entertainment arena. Fans can try football and racing simulators, mini golf, augmented reality darts, and climbing walls. The club's football development team will also be present to talk about soccer schools and coaching programmes, and visitors can enquire about hosting events at St Mary's Stadium.
The pop-up arrives as the first team enjoys a strong run of form, sitting sixth in the Championship with 20 points from 12 games, a record of seven wins, three draws and two losses. Russell Martin's side comes in off the back of a dramatic 3-2 away win at West Ham on Saturday 24th October, secured with goals from Kuryu Matsuki, James Bree and Lewis Dobbin. That result is part of a recent run of three wins and a draw from the last five league matches. The team has scored 24 goals this season while conceding only 12, giving them a goal difference of plus 12. The pop-up at Westquay offers a timely chance for fans to gear up and get information ahead of that key league encounter. The Saints are currently five points behind the league leaders Middlesbrough.
